Margaret started her environmental effort in 1998 as a member of Toronto’s Waste Watchers, later called the Toronto Environmental Volunteers (TEV) and now known as the Live Green Toronto Volunteers.

Since then, she’s visited schools, bookstores and public libraries in her efforts to share her story and her passion for the environment.

An active participant in her community, Margaret was the Chairperson of the Ajax Environmental Affairs Week in 2003 and 2004, a week long event of environmental activities that were successful in tapping and highlighting the benefits of working with other stakeholders in the community as well as in the region to get the sustainability and environmental message to the public. She had also served as Member of the Ajax Environmental Advisory Committee.

Margaret also took an active role in her school community and was elected School Council Chair of Archbishop Denis O’Connor Catholic High School from 2005 – 2007, which she was a member since 2002. Through her seminars and her new book, A Homeowners Guide to Feng Shui: Easy Tips to a Harmonious Home, Margaret shares her knowledge of Feng Shui, the ancient Chinese ‘art of placement’, its principles and fundamentals of living in harmony with nature, which she learned over the years from her extensive research, family’s culture and feng shui practice.

Margaret is also a real estate Sales Representative by profession and has been in the real estate industry since 1986; she is currently affiliated with Trustwell Realty Inc. in Toronto, Ontario. Working with local area banks, she conducted First Time Homebuyers Seminars for the general public. She has also served as President on the Board of Directors of a condominium corporation.
